Andy Aylon
Pain Treatment, Parkinson's Rehabilitation and NLP Therapy
For more than 20 years Andy Aylon. specializes in treating pain (chronic, acute and from emotional origin), Fibromyalgia, and Parkinson’s Disease. Andy has developed a unique method combining Hydrotherapy, Clinical Manual Therapy and NLP, making it possible to treat, in a broad and comprehensive manner, the complexity of symptoms regarding these patients either emotional, physical or both.
Pain Treatment
In 2006, Andy founded the first Manual Therapy Service For Pain Treatment at the Neurology Department at the Sourasky Medical Center, Tel Aviv.
Through more than 18 years of clinical practice in pain treatment (chronic and acute), Andy Aylon developed a unique work array integrating different Manual Therapy Techniques in a way that a vast diversity of pain related symptoms (organic and non organic) can be addressed and treated:
Headaches, migraines, back pains and other physical manifestations of pain, including chronic pain from emotional origin.
Regarding Parkinson's , its widely known that physical pain is a common complaint, and here again this problem can be eased with specific manual treatment and supervised exercises.
NLP (NEURO-LINGUISTIC PROGRAMMING)
NLP is a short-term psychotherapy method involving a set of perceptual, behavioral, and communicational techniques that help people change old behavioral patterns, thougths and actions.
NLP stands for Neuro-Lingustic Programming and relies on positive language to modify unconscious biases or limitations of an individual's neurological map and perception of the world based on the five senses barrier.
In certain cases/situations, Andy uses NLP in synergy with her unique set of therapeutic tools in order to obtain a wider comprehensive result.
fibromyalgia and Parkinson's Rehabilitation
The knowledge gained through 24 years of experience in this field, enabled Andy Aylon to develop a unique approach combining Manual Therapy and Hydrotherapy, providing a comprehensive treatment for the diversity of symptoms seen in Fibromyalgia and Parkinson’s patients. Andy’s approach to P.D enables to integrate different disciplines or to be used separately:
Manual Therapy:
Where the patient is lying on the therapeutic bed in a passive manner, receiving specific manual therapy for his condition. With special attention given to a wide range of pains and aches which appear in large percentages on the P.D patients.
Non Conventional Hydrotherapy:
Aquatic Therapy, Clinical Watsu, combined with Andy's Integrative Method, provide a wide and diverse workout for this challenging population.
Active Exercises:
Movement and stretches tailor made for the patient’s abilities which takes place on the therapeutic bed. Each patient receives a custom made exercise plan to work on at home.
Chair Exercise
During the Corona times, Andy Aylon developed an innovative way to be active with a wide range of movements and exercises done on a chair! It's a very safe way to use the body, exploring the possibilities a chair can give.It is done over ZOOM or in a frontal way. One-on-one, small groups, or wider groups which the use of Zoom makes possible.
The workout is adapted to the participant's age and possibilities.
It is a very safe and exciting way to move and expand the exercise experience.
Hydrotherapy
Hydrotherapy treatment for Parkinson's and MS, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Orthopedic problems and more.
Parkinson's, fibromyalgia and MS:
Individual plan for each patient according to his medical and physical condition. Hydrotherapy allows increased range of motion, coordination and reference to balance and gait problems without fear of falling or injury. Enables the patient to carry out movements that are difficult or impossible to perform on land, and to exercise aerobically hence increasing their heart rate.
Orthopedic Problems:
Treatment of acute and chronic pain - back pain, knees, shoulders etc. With personal attention to the patient's specific condition.
Golden Age:
Age limitations are decreased due to the properties of water, allowing diverse activities while significantly reducing pain and increasing mobility.
Clinical Watsu:
Complementary water therapy with excellent results in stress treatment and increasing limited range of movement.
Cardiac Rehabilitation:
The physical properties of water reduces the load on the heart and allows gradual cardiac rehabilitation, according to the patient's specific capabilities.
